Built on a Ladder Frame: A Real Cross-Country SUV
The ALL NEW MITSUBISHI PAJERO is Mitsubishi's flagship Cross-Country SUV and returns to a body-on-frame ladder chassis. It is positioned above the Pajero Sport, and its natural rivals are the Toyota Land Cruiser 250, Land Cruiser 300 and Nissan Patrol. Because it is assembled in Thailand, it sits in the local PPV excise tax category, which lets it compete with top-spec SUVs like the Ford Everest Platinum, Toyota Fortuner GR Sport and GWM Tank 500.
The Pajero name dates to 1982 and stands for over 40 years of off-road heritage. The new generation is the first Pajero in more than 20 years.
